Honestly, I'm not sure if such complex thoughts go through his head. Seeing as he admittedly doesn't keep track of the news, and relies completely on what his advisors tell him, perhaps he didn't even KNOW a hurricane hit. When questioned in Biloxi on whether the shortage of National Guard troops due to the war [for higher oil prices to help out friends of the administration] in Iraq had been a contribution to the subpar rescue effort, he returned to his one trick pony tactic. He claimed that we had a job to fight for our freedom in the war against terror. Now, I attack Bush for not keeping up with news, but now I am embarassed. I must have just completely missed the whole Iraqi invasion and attempted overthrow of the United States. Oh, wait a minute, that never happened. Iraq is not, and actually was never a reasonable threat to our "Enduring Freedom". Terrorist organizations based out of other countries, maybe. Iraq... lets just put it this way: our troops are having a harder time fighting the Iraqi civilians than they did with the Iraqi army. Yep, the only reasonable threat to our freedom in the last few years has been... well, the Patriot Act.
But, as usual, I have digressed. Kanye, can I call you Kanye? Kanye, it's not a matter of whether the government cares about black people. It's a matter of the government being completely incompetent, or driven by non-racial personal agendas. The only thing anyone has showed any true competency at during this whole ordeal has been finding patsies to take the blame for all the failures. Perhaps if CNN (no, lets say Fox News, we want Bush's advisors to hear this) had gotten ridiculously figurative and made reference to the "terrorist organization Katrina" destroying New Orleans, then maybe the executive branch would have jumped all over it. It's all about Bush playing Splinter Cell with US troops.
So, Kanye, crank up "Golddigger" and leave the racial whining to Jesse Jackson. Reverand, you know damn well you wouldn't want to hang out with the people shooting at the choppers, so just shut up. This is not the time. Wait for a slow news day.
